  In Author all nested If Instructions have the same color. Match Fields and also Apply Colors (available in HD Developer) are features that would make programming in Author a lot easier.

  Make the appearance of fields in a template controllable independent of the word document settings. This would be very useful to help distinguish basic text from fields in large paragraphs that have heavily nested fields, which I've encountered working with other people's templates.

  This was a feature in earlier versions of HotDocs, as shown on your support website here: https://help.hotdocs.com/developer/webhelp/Automating_Text_Templates_1/att1_assign_colors_to_fields_and_instructions_in_templates.htm. It made it much easier to find a misplaced [END IF] instruction inside nested instructions
